Toscana, al via la collaborazione tra Federalberghi e la Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna di Pisa

Entra nella fase operativa il progetto di ricerca scientifica applicata al turismo con cui l'associazione regionale di categoria e la prestigiosa Scuola si sono aggiudicati il finanziamento messo a disposizione dalla Regione Toscana a valere sul Fondo Sociale Europeo. Il progetto, del valore complessivo di 60mila euro grazie al cofinanziamento di Federalberghi Toscana, servirà ad attivare un assegno di ricerca, della durata di due anni, con la finalità di dare una spinta all’innovazione verde nel settore dell’ospitalità toscana. C'è tempo fino al 5 febbraio per presentare le candidature.

Per individuare l’assegnista più adatto la Scuola Sant’Anna, una vera eccellenza nel campo dell’alta formazione, ha da poco aperto un bando di selezione per titoli e colloquio. C’è tempo fino al 5 febbraio per presentare la domanda. Tra i requisiti richiesti ai candidati: avere meno di 36 anni e una laurea specialistica o magistrale in Scienze dell'economia, Scienze economiche per l'ambiente e la cultura, Scienze economico- aziendali o Ingegneria gestionale. Gli eventuali finalisti accederanno poi alla fase del colloquio, che si terrà il 12 febbraio (qui il bando integrale).

 

Il vincitore avrà quindi 24 mesi di tempo per portare avanti la ricerca identificando azioni, buone pratiche e tecnologie utili a favorire la transizione digitale ed ecologica nell’ottica di creare un prototipo di “albergo intelligente”, secondo la filosofia dell’economia circolare e dello “smart building” attento ai consumi e all’ambiente. Ogni procedura dovrà essere replicabile nelle strutture alberghiere toscane per promuoverne la sostenibilità ambientale ed economica.

 

“Questa iniziativa esprime una crescente sensibilità del mondo della ricerca alle problematiche del turismo, un settore fondamentale per la Toscana e per l’Italia, il cui futuro si gioca sempre più nella capacità di intercettare sfide ed opportunità dell’innovazione tecnologica”, spiega il responsabile scientifico dell’operazione, il professor Nicola Bellini del Centro di Ricerca Interdisciplinare sulla Sostenibilità e il Clima, esperto internazionale in management del turismo e turismo sostenibile.

 

Sarà poi Federalberghi Toscana-Confcommercio a mettere a disposizione i risultati dello studio agli imprenditori della ricettività che vorranno intraprendere questo importante processo di innovazione. “Siamo orgogliosi di questa iniziativa, che ci vede collaborare con una Scuola tanto prestigiosa qual è il Sant’Anna - dichiara il presidente di Federalberghi Toscana Daniele Barbetti – il settore dell’ospitalità può contribuire significativamente alla transizione verde, specialmente in un contesto come quello toscano ad alta densità di presenze turistiche. La transizione verde può anche rafforzare la competitività delle imprese e delle destinazioni, sia in termini di attrattività per il mercato sia per le riduzioni di costi che ne derivano. Il problema è che per portare avanti questa transizione occorrono tecnologie spesso complesse, che non tutte le imprese ricettive (soprattutto se di media o piccola dimensione) riescono ad applicare per vincoli di natura gestionale o economico-finanziaria. Da qui nasce il nostro progetto, che a partire dalle migliori pratiche esistenti a livello internazionale intende mettere a disposizione di tutti un piano per avere un albergo intelligente”.
