Ristorazione, il 18 ottobre 2018 a Firenze l'incontro Italia/Usa

Attesi in città alcuni esponenti della National Restaurant Association, la più grande associazione di ristoratori negli USA: il presidente Jay Stieber, vicepresidente esecutivo della catena di ristoranti “Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises”, Christianne Ricchi, titolare ed executive chef de “I Ricchi” a Washington, e Dawn Sweeney, president e chief executive officer. Ad accoglierli ci saranno il presidente di Fipe-Confcommercio Toscana Aldo Cursano e il direttore di Confcommercio Toscana Franco Marinoni insieme ad alcuni operatori del settore: Marco Stabile (ristorante Ora d’Aria), Simone Arnetoli (Galateo Ricevimenti) e Amerigo Capria (ristorante Baccarossa). Obiettivo: confrontare mercato e best practice nella ristorazione fra Italia e Stati Uniti.

Firenze torna ad essere per un giorno “capitale” della ristorazione italiana. Giovedì 18 ottobre 2018 si fermerà infatti in città la delegazione della National Restaurant Association, la più grande associazione di ristoratori negli USA, per incontrare una rappresentanza degli operatori del settore toscani coordinati da Confcommercio e Fipe, la Federazione Italiana dei Pubblici Esercizi.

Dagli Stati Uniti arriveranno appositamente per l’incontro, fissato alle ore 11 presso il ristorante Ora d’Aria in via dei Georgofili,  il presidente della National Restaurant Association Jay Stieber, vicepresidente esecutivo della catena di ristoranti “Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises” (oltre 120 locali dislocati in 11 Stati), Christianne Ricchi, titolare ed executive chef de “I Ricchi” a Washington D.C., uno dei primi ristoranti tipici toscani aperto negli Stati Uniti, fra i top restaurant del Nord America, e Dawn Sweeney, president e chief executive officer.

Ad accoglierli ci saranno il presidente di Fipe-Confcommercio Toscana Aldo Cursano e il direttore di Confcommercio Toscana Franco Marinoni insieme ad alcuni operatori del settore: Marco Stabile (ristorante Ora d’Aria), Simone Arnetoli (Galateo Ricevimenti) e Amerigo Capria (ristorante Baccarossa). Con loro anche l’avvocato Giulia Rebecca Giuliani in rappresentanza della Fipe nazionale.

“Questo summit è stato organizzato per il tramite della Camera di Commercio di New York”, spiega il direttore di Confcommercio Toscana Franco Marinoni, “l’obiettivo è quello di confrontare orientamenti del mercato e best practice nella ristorazione fra Italia e Stati Uniti, anche per sviluppare eventuali alleanze commerciali”.

“Si tratta di un’opportunità importante per stabilire un contatto con l’associazione americana, anche in vista di una serie di programmi dedicati al mondo della ristorazione che la Camera di Commercio italo-americana sta lanciando negli USA”, sottolinea il presidente della Fipe toscana Aldo Cursano.

Il programma della giornata prevede alle ore 11.15 un primo momento istituzionale di presentazione e discussione, poi il pranzo a base di specialità della cucina toscana.
